Think about what you are doing? Ok I have said this once and now I will say it again. I do understand that there are sites out there that piss us off and we do not feel they should be allowed to run. Puppys 4 is one of them that has continued to get a lot of attention.
This particular site is a hoax and is someone’s attempt at humor, some get it others don’t. I for one do not feel that dog fighting is something that should be joked about on any level, even though some know this site is a hoax there are impressionable youth out there that this site can deliver the wrong message to.
Take a minute and think about how search results works, while you are upset about the site and you pass on the link to your friends, you not only drive traffic to the site but you (depending how/where the link is posted) are also creating links and back links to the site itself, which means you are helping the site gain web presence.
In order to be effective try teaming up and complaining to Google about the site, if you notice there are a lot of ads running on the site. Part of the terms for Google is that sites that run ads cannot have illegal content. If enough people complain to Google the ads will be pulled and they will also remove the site from Google search. It comes down to this the more traffic to the site gets tells Google as well as other search engines that this is a good site. So the reality of it is the 30 bulletins that are posted everyday about this site, in fact are helping the site.
I said it before, when you see sites like this yes something should be done but sending everyone there defeats any attempt you will make in getting this site off line. I still feel rather than saying “this is disgusting go look” it would be a better service to the breed to post something saying “I found another bad site visit the EBA’S (Endangered Breed Association) website” then you can help their ratings. Which is a group that can use the help their budget goes to helping the breed and not to Internet marketing.
Its really not that hard to figure out, far to often actions that are emotional driven are followed by the words “well I meant well”.
Lets take a minute to breath and think about what real effects our actions are going to have.

So My Daughter says to me....
Today i get a phone from my 10 year old daughters mother, she calls me to tell me that they were at a flea market and she gave my daughter 10 dollars to spend, out of all the things there what does she want? A book about Pit bulls.
This reminded me that the other day my daughter looks at me and ask me "what kind of pit bull is Janya?" i looked at my daughter and laughed a little bit and asked her "what do you mean what kind?" she says to me "you know is she a bully, game, what kind of pit bull is she?"
Folks I was proud of the fact that this 10 year old little girl is learning that there is more to this breed than just being a pit bull, but it also reminded me about how much our little ones are watching us, and how much they learn from what they see.
Lets not forget education starts at home

Is It Worth It??
It is with a heavy heart that I am sitting down to write this. Many people know some of the difficult task that I have been faced with over the past couple years, things ranging from issues with my daughter, getting my ass handed to me by life in general, and of course issue I have had to face and over come with my involvement with the Pit Bull Breed.
I know that I am not alone when I say that I have had to deal with a certain amount of BS simply because I have had a Pit Bull Breed, things that date back to when my now 16 year old daughter was born, when her mother tried using my pit bull as a reason to question my visitation rights, at times I have had a hard time finding a place to live that would allow me to have my dog, yes I am one of those that while dealing with other life issues at times I have slept in a vehicle, and a storage shed in order to keep my dog.
It has not been until the last couple years that I have really dug into this breed in attempts to try and help the ugly issues they face. It is as sad as it is hard to say that at times I almost feel as if saying I support this breed is a bad thing, however most of the time I could care less what people think.
Recently I have had once again another issue come up because of my dog. It has really put me into check not just when it comes to where I stand with the breed, but also where I stand with my own personally beliefs. For me it has been a very hard situation to deal with and I am still unclear as to the right answer to the situation.
Much like anyone else would under the same pressure I have been taking a close look at a lot of things. One question that comes to mind is “is it really worth it?” Has everything I have been through so far really worth holding my position in all of this, not to mention is it worth dealing with the things that are sure to come in the future. In all fairness I think the only way I can really answer that question is to weigh out the pros and cons and figure out if the reward has been worth all the problems.
Looking back to when I really started digging deeper into this breed was really by accident, I was starting Outspoken Graphics as a way to release some inner anger I had, hence is where the name came from. In looking for an image of a pit bull for an idea I had I felt as if I was slapped in the face, not to mention a bit embarrassed of my lack of knowledge about how bad things really were. I found myself asking how can things really be this bad, more to the point how could I have had one of these dogs for as long as I have and just not know, really the only thing I did know is the love I have been shown by this breed.
I soon found myself at the lowest point I have ever been in, in my life to date. Finding the strength to keep my head up became a task all in itself. Looking around it was very clear that I had literally just lost everything and I was sitting there alone in my empty house. During this time there was one thing that was there for me never too falter. That’s right my Pit Bull, I was at the lowest point in my life and she was right there with me. The nights were I could not pull myself together to save my life she would lay with me and often look at me as if she was telling me; everything was going to be ok. If you have been involved with the breed I am confident that you have seen this same look. Some may argue that any dog will do that, well that may be, but for me it wasn’t any other dog it was a pit bull.
I may not know the life history of the American Pit Bull, I could not tell you what year they hit the USA, nor do I fully understand all the mixes that made up the American Pit Bull. What I do know is this, this breed has showed me what it means to be a survivor, not only has this breed showed me what it means to have courage and to be a survivor it has also should me what it means to survive and remain loyal, and most of all forgiving.
The amount of abuse this breed can take and still turn around and love is incredible. In the worlds history the only thing that has ever been able to withstand the amount of abuse these dogs take in and still be able to love just the same is Jesus Christ, if you disagree with that I challenge you to show me anything that has been more abused than this breed, and is still able to turn around and love as if nothing had even happened to them.
For the God fearing people who may read this I am not saying this breed should be worshipped that is not the point I am making, I am simply saying that the true heart of this breed should be looked at for what it is. If you don’t know the heart of this breed then you should take the time to get to know it. If you have a judgmental view on this breed, remember there is something to be said for being judged the way you judges others, I do not believe that it is written to say, the way you judge humans.
Time and time again this breed suffers from starvation, and physical abuse of the worse kind to where their limps and flesh have been literally ripped off, those who have been rescued from this horrible fate have went on to lead normal lives never attacking a single person and still able to express love, I again challenge anyone to show me a better display of unconditional love.
Even with their love and true desire yes some can be socially challenged, is being socially challenged the very definition of a American Pit Bull, no. If it where then I know of a lot communities, not to mention prison’s that are filled with Pit Bulls. As community leaders fight to make their neighborhoods safer from dog breeds, I ask what are they doing to make their neighborhood safer from child predators. If you really want your community safe know who your neighbors are. Family Watch Dog. Should just anyone have a Pit Bull breed, not any more than every is suited for having children let alone any kind of animal.
Getting back to is all of this worth having a dog? Today I came to realize something. I have my dog for me and for what she has showed me, no one else just me. If someone does not like my choice of breed then guess what he or she do not have to. If I decided that I am willing to take on all the issues that come with being a Pit Bull owner even if it means sleeping in a shed, then that is my choice, and guess what I am not the only one that feels that way when it comes to this breed. Maybe rather than people pointing the negative finger at this breed one should stop and ask them a question. If so many people are willing to go to this kind of length for this breed, maybe, just maybe there is something more to it than meets the eye.
Being involved with this breed has enabled me to do a lot of things I would not be doing otherwise. Some of which has been helping other people with their issues, whether it be by doing something for them or simply just befriending them. Being involved with this breed for me is also a daily reminder that as ugly as this world can be at times although faint the heart of America is still alive. Fighting for this breed is also a symbol of fighting for your rights as a United States Citizen, the same rights that are suppose to be protected by our Government are being taken away each and everyday.
So to answer the question is all of the BS, headaches, and fighting for the breed worth it? Each and everyday I am loved in a way that many people do not understand and sadly never will. Is it worth it? You better believe it.
God Bless those who dare to live above the ignorance.

Why I Do What I Do
I just wanted to take a minute and write a little bit to all of those who have asked me why it is I do what I do and what is my thing with Pit Bulls and this BSL. For me it is about the dogs but in my opinion this country needs to wake up to the fact that our rights are being taken from us right under our nose.
I mean really knowing a government agency went door to door euthanizing pets what’s next our children, some may snicker to me saying that and say yeah like that will ever happen. 20 years ago had someone said they would go door to door euthanizing dogs you would have laughed then too, but it happened.
This is a reporting from 2005: DENVER -- Since reinstating its pit bull ban in May Denver has impounded more than 380 pit bulls and is euthanizing them at an average rate of more than three a day. Full Article To some of you that will read this, The Denver Breed ban issue is an old one but, for the rest of you I truly hope you are shocked by learning this. Breed Bans defy so much of the constitution it’s a joke, and its wrong. People move to this country because of our "freedom". Hearing that the government knocked on the door and took a dog from a home and killed it for simply being the wrong breed, come on that is something you read happened in a communist country not here in the "Land Of The Free".
Register this; A government agency enforced going door-to-door killing family pets, some of which may have never even left their own yard. The worst part about this mass killing is the dogs did not even have to be American Pit Bulls, many were killed simply because they looked like one.Everything factual about the breed contradicts everything that supports breed bans. The are not typically aggressive toward humans in fact it is said over and over Pit Bulls do not make good guard dogs because they are too human friendly. Can they be taught to be gaurd dogs? Yes but so can a Poodle. The truth is even "Dog Fighters" have been breeding human agression out of Pit Bulls for years.
They say they cannot be rehabilitated bullshit how many of Vicks dogs have been sucessfully placed into homes, deny that fact with your myths.
Study after study has shown when it comes to intelligence and obedience in a K-9 Pit Bulls score among the highest, most of the time scoring just under the Golden Retriever. I cant wait until the predictibility of a Golden retriever is questioned.
For those of you that still think of BSL as that Pit Bull ban currently there are over 75 breeds that are considered "Dangerous Breeds" and are banned or restricted in different areas across the United States.
To free any breed we have to over come peoples fear. We tend to fear things that we do not understand, many people do not understand the love of these animals, when you have things like websites that promote dog fighting and a malicious media who is dead set on reporting only the negative you instill even more fear, it’s really not that hard to figure out.
I do not think there is a day that goes by that I do not see someone posting something asking for help because a Breed Ban may soon affect him or her. People we should not have to fight for the right to have a dog, I mean come on.
So what do we do? We have to stop talking about making a difference, we have to stop saying we are fighting BSL, and actually do something. We unite with groups such as the ASPCA. This is a huge Animal rights organization that has publicly said they do not support Breed Bans of any kind. I encourage everyone to check out their site and join. Aspca
Everyone of us can post bulletins, blogs, and talk all we want about the injustice of breed bans, but the truth is money is power and a lot of us to not have the means to fight city hall, and unless our voice is loud enough it will not be heard. When it comes to animals right now Peta is probably one of the loudest voices out there, and where have they been while 75 breeds have been getting banned, they were to busy spending nearly 10,000 dollars on a freezer for all of the animals they kill. Truth About Peta
Which is not surprising seeing how they stand on Pit Bulls.
"Those who argue against the euthanasia policy for pit bull dogs are naive.I have scars on my leg and arm from my own encounter with a pit. Many are loving and will kiss on sight, but many are unpredictable.People who genuinely care about dogs won’t be affected by a ban on pits. They can go to the shelter and save one of the countless other breeds and lovable mutts sitting on death row through no fault of their own. We can only stop killing pits if we stop creating new ones. Legislators, please take note."
Yet Peta will go to the extremes and send out a commercial dressing a man in a KKK outfit claiming the AKC is discriminatory.Peta Video
Ingrid Newkirk, is nothing more than a money grubbing extremist that will do anything to put herself and her slaughter house in the spotlight, all of which is motivated by the pursuit of personal wealth, and guess what it has been tax free because of their non profit status. Which hopefully is about to change, on 01/15/08 WASHINGTON, DC- the nonprofit Center for Consumer Freedom formally petitioned Virginia’s Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS), requesting that the government agency officially reclassify People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) as a slaughterhouse. Peta’s Slaughter House. When there was a chance to suck up some spotlight during the Michael Vick trials you better believe Peta was front and center.
Ok this is where I have to take a breath, and try and get back on topic. As I grow in the Pit Bull community I have learned a lot of things that I did not know, I have been blessed by meeting some of the best people I have ever met. I have found that for the most part the responsible owners of this breed seem to share the same loyalty and compassion as the breed itself. They are good people, and they are good dogs, if you want to take a dog away from some slug dirt bag, go rite ahead I could care less, in fact I would encourage it, but its wrong to take something away from someone that has not done anything wrong. Labels are meant for products not living things.
We live in a society that for the most part rather look at the "image" and not take the time to look at the facts. You have someone like Ingrid Newkirk that has made millions claiming she is all for the animals yet Peta has a 97.4% kill rate, but the media makes her look good. Does anyone even know the attack rate of all of the dogs that have been banned or killed? Yet the media makes them look bad so there for they must be. Innocent people and innocent dogs should not have to move to another city, town or state just because the majority of the public would rather listen to the negative media and myths and not take the time to learn the facts, and its wrong.
I do what I do because I belive it is the right thing to do.
